What happens when you visit the website

Hosting

This website runs on our own Odoo system on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestraße 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Nuremberg. Hetzner processes the data on our behalf and only on our instructions (Art. 28 GDPR).

Server log files

With every request the web server automatically stores the IP address, date and time, the requested address, the referrer and the browser identification. We need this information to run the website securely and reliably and to detect attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The log files are deleted automatically after 14 days.

Cookies

We only use strictly necessary cookies, which do not require consent (section 165(3) Austrian Telecommunications Act 2021, section 25(2) German TDDDG):

  • session_id: keeps your session, for example while you book an appointment. Valid for up to 7 days.
  • frontend_lang: remembers whether you see the website in German or English. Valid for 1 year.

We use no analytics, statistics or advertising cookies and no tracking tools such as Google Analytics.

Fonts

The fonts of this website are stored on our own server. Your browser does not connect to Google or any other third party to load them.

Links to social networks

We refer to LinkedIn and Instagram with plain links only, not with embedded plugins. Data reaches these services only when you click a link.

Appointments and contact

Booking an initial meeting

When you book an appointment, we process your name, email address, phone number, the chosen time slot and what you tell us about your request. The data is stored in our Odoo system (calendar and CRM) and is used to prepare and hold the meeting and to answer your enquiry. The legal basis is taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

We send confirmations and reminders through the email service Postmark of ActiveCampaign, LLC, USA. If the meeting takes place by video, we use Google Meet of Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland.

Email and phone

When you write to us or call us, we process your details to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Our email runs on Google Workspace of Google Ireland Limited.

Retention

We keep enquiries as long as needed to handle them and for a possible business relationship. If a contract results, the statutory retention periods apply.

Transfers to third countries

Wolfinne is based in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The data is stored on servers in Germany and handled by our team in Bosnia and Herzegovina. There is no adequacy decision of the European Commission for Bosnia and Herzegovina. Processing there takes place only as far as it is necessary to handle your enquiry or to perform a contract (Art. 49(1)(b) GDPR).

Postmark and Google may also process data in the USA. The basis is the EU-US Data Privacy Framework where the provider is certified, otherwise the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission.

Your rights

What you can ask for

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure and restriction of processing, the right to data portability and the right to object to processing based on legitimate interests (Art. 15 to 21 GDPR). You can withdraw any consent at any time with effect for the future. Write to sales@wolfinne.com.

Complaints

You can lodge a complaint with a data protection authority: in Austria with the Austrian Data Protection Authority, Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at, or with the authority of the country where you live or work.
